TechExcel Names Maria Miller to Top Marketing Post

Strategist known for branding expertise aims to increase awareness, sales

LAFAYETTE, CALIF. September 6, 2006 – TechExcel, Inc., the leading provider of knowledge-centric Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software, today announced Maria Miller has been appointed Director of Marketing and will lead the marketing vision, strategy and tactics for the company.

"She brings more than 16 years of experience in strategic marketing, marketing communications and product marketing to her new role and will lead the organization in identifying and penetrating new markets for the company's knowledge-centric ALM suite, while also supporting the ongoing rapid growth in existing core focus areas."

Miller comes to TechExcel after three successful years as marketing director for Sunflower Systems, a lifecycle asset management software company. She successfully helped grow the company to the leader in asset management and strategic asset intelligence for core market areas. Prior to that, she was with Siperian, Inc., where she worked with the team to position company as a leader in the CDI space.

Miller was previously vice president of worldwide product marketing for Promatis Corporation, a German-based business process management software company, where she was instrumental in bringing Promatis products and services to the U.S. market.
